The City of Lost Children

The other day I watched The City of Lost Children, and was completely stunned as to the effect that this movie had on me. At first, I was quite disturbed by the movie, feeling so because I could just imagine the world getting to a point where "Big Brother" had that amount of control over its citizens.  The other reason that this video disturbed me was simply because of the content which was being shown, and the fact that it was based on the hardships of childrens' lives.  Once the movie was over, thought I was slightly relieved, I also found myself feeling a bit disappointed because I wanted to further the adventure.  As if this were not enough, the other thing that struck me was the dream sequence towards the end of the video.  Though the dream scene was quite trippy, it was also captivating in the manor in which the people in the dream seemed to ages almost timelessly.  All in all, I feel that it was a movie worth watch, if for nothing else, to spark your imagination and a sense of fear that we as citizens need to make sure we remain with some say in the world.  Below is the trailer for the movie, to give you a glimpse into the City of Lost Children.
